This water fountain is set into the landscape as an entrance feature for Broomwood Primary School in Altrincham. It is constructed from a combination of York stone and glazed stoneware ceramics. The flower and leaf designs were painted during workshops with pupils aged 9 and 10.  

The fountain is built to be tough and durable. The top of the fountain is reinforced with 19mm stainless steel tubes and the ceramic pebbles are firmly attached to a stainless steel grid. The ceramic work is fired to stoneware temperatures and is frost proof.
